Paulina Antonia is an American ceramicist, artist, crafter, and upcycler whose work is inspired by vintage nostalgia and the glamour of old Hollywood films. Based in New York City, her creations reflect a signature style filled with florals, ribbons, bows, pastel colors, and classic check patterns, all with a designer-inspired flair.
She is especially known for her unique ceramic Christmas trees, traditional holiday light-up pieces, and functional ceramics. Working from a collection of over 10,000 vintage and current ceramic slip molds, Paulina brings both history and originality into every piece she creates.
Paulina’s journey with ceramics began in 1985 after a surgery that saved her leg. During her recovery, ceramics became a form of therapy and creative expression, helping her cope with no longer being able to participate in some of the sports she once excelled at. She first began working in a ceramic studio at the age of 12 and later purchased that same studio in 1997. Over the years, she developed her skills through the guidance of talented teachers who passed down a wide range of techniques and knowledge.
In addition to her ceramic work, Paulina is also an accomplished crafter and upcycler. Her creative background is further shaped by her experience in luxury retail and design, having worked for high-end boutiques including Hermès, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. She also helped decorate Fifth Avenue store windows and worked with the alterations division at Bergdorf Goodman.
Today, Paulina combines fine craftsmanship, vintage charm, and luxury-inspired design to create timeless pieces that celebrate beauty, tradition, and artistry.
